On Thursday, June 5, 2025, Impact for Equity was proud to host Persistence Through Change, our 2025 annual gala. 2025 Champion of the Public Interest awardee Matthew J. Piers, President and Senior Counsel of Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd., gave an impassioned defense of equity programs and of Impact for Equity’s mission. More than 200 people enjoyed dinner, drinks, and conversation at the Bridgeport Art Center, culminating in a paddle raise to support our programs.
